Sassy also knows as Sadekqua Dejon (Dee) Shaw is the owner of Sassy's Rum Balls LLC. This business came from a love making treats for friends from a simple recipe of mixtures. With budget cuts in corporate America and all through out the healthcare system, Sadekqua decided to take on a third business of her own. Over the past 2 years, Sadekqua has suffered and was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney disease. This was from a severe case of endometriosis causing her uterus to lean on her ureter. This caused a blockage in her right kidney giving her hydronephrosis of the right kidney. March of 2023, Ms. Shaw had to have her right kidney removed. She endured many hospital stays, and several surgeries. Not being able to secure finances only working as a PRN with no benefits, Sadekqua decided to turn another one of her passions into a business. Rum Balls. Now, not in the original chocolate, but so many other flavors with a party in each bite. Know that your purchases are going toward a good cause.
